Well Round 3 is here and what I have been doing in rounds 1 & 2 was cardio only. My logic behind this stategy was that if I stayed away from weiht training I would not have to fight my gaining muscle with my dieting efforts. Now I plan to bring in weight conditioning and cardio for the remaining rounds. My feeling is that since I have to lose only 4% more to hit the goal I can bring in weight conditioning and make adjustments along the way. I will try to keep everyone posted on my progress.

As for what I have done to get this far I have made some lifestyle changes of course but my best friend is the crock pot. For those of you who own a Kindle you might be interested to know that there are a ton of free books available for the kindle, and a lot of those books are cook books. I try to stay with mostly vegetable dishes that can be quite good ( i will endeavor to post a few recipies and pictures when I get a chance) and that has helped tremendously.

As for my major change that I have made that I attribute to my success is changing when I work out. Like most people you go to work, get home, eat, then work up the willpower to go to the gym. I found when I did this it was hit and miss. If I left the house right after work I would go to the gym, once my butt hit the couch forget it! Well I switched gyms and now I have a 24 hour gym so guess what, I go in the morning. Sure I have to get up at 3 am but right now I am 19 pounds lighter and the pounds keep leaving. All I am saying is sometime you got to change things up a little.

Thant's it for my first blog post. I hope that some of this information is of help to some of you. All I am saying is that on this journey to a healthier you, sometimes changes that you never thought of have to be made.
