I hate moving.

I just finished moving for the third time in the last 4 years, and man do I ever have a lot of STUFF!

The one thing I do like about moving is the oppotunity to establish new, good habits.  Before I even fall into the habit of leaving dirty dishes in the sink, throwing my purse anywhere, leaving shoes laying around, or finding a favorite spot in front of the TV as soon as I get home, I try to be intentional and establishing my new habits, so they're good ones.

I find this to be especially helpful when it comes to eating healthy and avoiding being a couch potato.  it is SO MUCH EASIER to start off on the right foot then get off the wrong foot after walking on that foot for ages.  Having a routine of preparing meals for the next day every night before going to bed has been the key to my success in losing over 10 pounds so far.

THe next time your routine gets shaken up, try to embrace the chaos by controlling where you land, and how you hit the ground running when you do.
