Welcome! I hope you get what you need out of diet bet. My biggest piece of advice is to make your mindset into more of a lifestyle change vs "just get me to this number". Once you are at your goal weight, you'll still need to maintain with healthy eating habits and exercise, so you may as well start habits now that you can keep. It's also helped me not deprive myself so much, which makes sticking to the plan easier. When it's a DIET you think "no cookies till next month" but when it's a lifestyle you think more "I'll have just one cookie, not the whole tray".
