I'm not sure what it is but I've been on a downward spiral for a long time. I have been gaining weight steadily for the last several months and even though I know I need to work on losing the pounds, I continue to sabotage myself. My main issue is my sweet tooth. No matter what is going on, I can't seem to pass up sweets! It drives me insane that I am so addicted to sugar. I've tried giving it up cold turkey and honestly, I think that made things worse.

So, my personal goal for the upcoming weeks is to always have a supply of healthy snacks with me, both at work and in my car. I work two jobs and many times when I'm going from one job to the next, I will stop and get Starbucks or something to hold me over until dinner time. My Pinterest boards have tons of healthy snack ideas so now I actually need to make some of them. If I can limit my Starbucks/treats to once during the next week, I will definitely consider that a victory.

For those of you who also struggle with sugar, what do you do to help curb those cravings?  I'm open to any tips or suggestions! :-)
