My mom recently passed away in March and for the last 9 years I've been her primary caregiver. During those 9 years I've become a quitter, because I did not have the freedom to take care of me. Resulting in poor food choices, snacking late with lack of exercise. I did manage to lose 14lbs last year because I was turning 50 in January and did what I could before my mom took a turn for the worse in February this year. The end of May I decided I would try again since mom passed. I started positive, thinking things would be different now. I began going to the gym and making better choices. However, for whatever reason I have one of the stagnant metabolisms. In the last 2 months, I've made better choices, ate less portions and would exercise 4-5 days a week spending up to an hour even more on cardo with little to no results. All this hard work isn't worth it if I see no results. So the quitting has continued. Today I noticed Dolvett's post about DietBet. I haven't been competitive since I was in my 40's. Well, I am tired of being a quitter!! I am hoping to obtain the encouragement, support and success I need by doing this! I am stepping out of my comfort zone by writing this post! I want to be a part of the testimonial section! Thanks for listening! :)
