Ack! Somehow, in my first week, I've GAINED a pound.

This is after cutting way back on alcohol, sticking to my workout plan and passing up junk food.

Obviously, I'm incredibly frustrated. I'm prone to +/- a few pounds on the scale anyway, so I know this isn't a cue to simply give up.

I thinkt he culprit was probably my weekend, which included a visit from out-of-town friends. There was some drinking and meals out. I thought I'd budgeted my 'fun' calories well, but I guess not.

Better luck this week! I think I may need to increase my working out to 5x a week.
