See, proof!

Reflecting back on this photo last night - I probably went from being underweight in my 20's to being officially obese (according to the BMI index) in my 30's and 40's.

How did I get to this point? I believe, over eating and a lack of exercise. I'm not going to make any excuses, I just realy like food (and beer).

I was an avid distance runner in my early teens - the fact that i lived in a rural community in Australia with no bus service was the main contributor - that and the time I had my drivers license suspended - made me really like running.

At the start of this dietbet, I was making a change to my diet (Nutrisystem) - Prepared food delivered to your door - some tasted better than others, but the portion sizes was the big shock - i'll be honest that I've had the ocassional slip up, but, bounced right back - and really got back into running again.

So, I'm pretty much at the end of my first dietbet experience - it's very cool. I love the support, reading the messages, looking at the photo's - it's very motivating and inspiring. I have signed up for a transformer - at the end of which i should be close to my final goal weight.
