This was a GREAT week!!! I won the DietBet (woohoo!!) lost 2.2lbs at my WW meeting, and added exercise to my routine! I started walking at a park near me, which is a nice secluded area with trees and a little river. It's such a pretty place so I don't mind walking around in circles for two miles! The route that I go is a little under 1/3 of a mile, so I walk down the hill to start, take the loop six times, and then back up the hill to my car! It takes me about 40 minutes to complete this, so it is something that I will definitely be trying to do every day.
This might be difficult on Tuesday/Thursday (like today) because I get home from work around 4:15, then I have class at 5:50. I would either have to go straight from work in order to have time to change before class, or go home and change and then walk and just wear my walking clothes to class. I am going to take the day off today because my ankles are a little sore, but hopefully I will be able to swing a walk on Thursday. It is definitely something that can be done when I don't have much time to do anything, so as long as my ankles are ok I can do it!
Now comes the part where I'm not sure what to do... The DietBet is over? I am thinking of joining another one, but I am not sure if I should do one of the 'Transformation' ones for six months (probably the one starting October 25th, $25), or if I should just wait to do Kristine's Get Lean for 2016 ($30, starting November 10th). I don't really want to have too much "down time" where I feel ok to cheat because I'm "just doing WW", but I also don't know how well I am going to do after this first month. I think that this group definitely kept me motivated, but I also don't want to become a nut who is obsessed with the app!! I think I will wait to see how much my payout is from my first bet, and decide from there.
I am hopeful for what lies ahead, and will continue to update even if I don't join a new bet!!
