This week was definitely a struggle for me. With no official DietBet to keep me motivated and several events with friends, I had a really hard time staying on track. While the food I cheated with lobster risotto with soft shell crab, white bread, wings, home made apple pie with hand picked apples, french toast with eggs, sausage, creamed chipped beef was absolutely delicious, it would have been better to have one "cheat day" instead of a few "cheat meals". I ended up gaining according to my messed up scale at home, but thankfully I didn't gain according to my WW meeting scale, but only lost .2lbs as of yesterday.

This week is all about good choices. I made my chicken chili that I made in the past (4pp per cup!) and have that for my lunches the rest of the week. I have stocked my fridge with simple, quick options that I can make for dinners, and I have an abundance of cereals and yogurts for breakfast. Plus all those apples I picked from the orchard will be a great addition to any meal! I am .5lbs away from my 5% goal with WW and I really just want to get there for next week. It would be nice to get another 5lb sticker (1.6lbs away!) and I think I can do it. I just need to put my mind to it!

The one thing that will be a struggle this week is Halloween. My house is hosting a party, so I know there will be temptations around every corner, but as long as I have some healthy options available, I should be able to resist. Hopefully my week six update will include some positive accomplishments as I continue on my journey!!
