I'm not sure how the month went by so quickly, but here I am at the last week of the challenge. There's been a lot of ups and downs on the scale this month and I'm hoping that my weigh in goes well.

We spent a weekend hiking in Shenandoah about a week after the challenge started. I carried my 40 pound child up and down the trails and stuck to a clean diet the entire time. When I got home, I couldn't believe the scale...I was actually at my goal weight. After only 10 days from initial weigh-in...wow! But, then I caught a virus and laid around for a week and didn't eat the best. Once I felt better I still wasn't working out and watched the scale tick back up a bit.

Right now it seems like I keep hovering around 1-3 pounds above goal. I'm nervous to do an "unofficial weigh-in" because I feel like I'm going to jinx it. I'm ready to for the challenge to be over so I can stop obsessing about the scale. It was definitely the motivation I needed to get moving and eating healthy again and it was worth it even if I don't end up winning.
