I've been at this a while, and was already on my way down on the yoyo track again (lost 45 from 165 to 120.5, gained back 20, lost 5 to my current 135.8) when I discovered Diet Bet even existed. I'm really excited about Diet Bet not only because it will give me extra motivation to lose the weight but because it will help me with what I struggle with the most: maintaining the weight I've already lost.

I feel that I will never be able to stop calorie counting and I'm okay with that. I have found that when I stop counting calories I am much more forgiving with myself about the kinds of foods I eat because I'm not forced to see it written down. I get complacent in my ignorance. I feel that calorie counting (healthfully, not obsessively) is a really important part of a healthy lifestyle for me, and the Maintenance Game I want to join after I reach my goal weight will keep me accountable and motivated to stay at my goal weight.

I can't wait to be happy with myself again! The thing I most look forward to is being really proud of what I see in the mirror again, and fitting into cute clothes. I'm still in my 20s and intend to enjoy them with a body I can be proud of, especially for the work I put into having it.

Cheers!
