I'm getting the fitbit tomorrow which I'm super excited for!! I will make sure o follow some people from DeitBet to help encourage me to walk to classes more and just be more generally active! I love the hormones of physical activity.
I focused for finals studying until about 5pm--towards the afternoon it gets difficult for me. Should I push myself past the haze in my head or should I give myself a break? I know I'm not usually as productive with the haze and then I end up feeling like I need a break because I've been trying to do work for two hours but nothing is actually accomplished.
I think during the haze when I still need to do things I need to do little things at a time with immediate small goals: for example, I will write this outline but after I can call my boyfreind.
I think I'm going to sign up for swimming next quater which will be fun.
Overall, today was a great day, but there were a couple of choices, particularly the super salty soup, that I can adjust going forward.
Its crazy how making commitments to little changes makes you more mindful about everything else you are doing, and you feel like making healthy choices in so many other aspects of your day, even though I didn't commit to "not eating cake or dessert" after I exercised today and was aware of what I was eating through food tracking, I didn't at all desire that cake/desert.
Today was a great day and tomorrow is going to be another.
My goal for tomorrow is just to maintain my previous goals and previous success:
-eat at specific times
-exercise
-eat all my day's food before nighttime, or just have a peice of fruit if quite hungry
I'm on the right path and I hope everyone else is too! Small steps for me are the answer to what seems overwhelming.
Cheers!
