I decided to start a blog because I feel like I would be a lot more successful if other people can read what I'm doing and be less likely to cheat or give up.

Day 1 & 2 were a success.

Breakfast consisted of old fashioned oats with cinnamon and a little brown sugar.

Yesterday's lunch consisted of brown rice with spinach, peas, and some kind of light sauce. Today's lunch was a frozen dinner. (Not the best I know, but the good part about it is I only ate one normal serving of something instead of the massive portions you get everywhere these days.)

Yesterday's dinner consisted of a salad with grilled chicken, and today's was a homemade smoothie with frozen kale, berries, vanilla protein powder, low-fat plain yogurt, and a mixture of 2% milk and water.

Both days consisted of 30 minutes on an elliptical, and today I added a little bit of weight training.

There are many things I still need to improve on, but overall, I feel like the beginning of my journey is going well. I'm determined to make this a success.
