Ok, so it's only been a few days....4, to be exact. I'm doing the low-carb diet - keeping it to about 20 net carbs per day. I felt a little light headed and yucky the first day (sugar and caffiene withdrawal), but now I'm feeling pretty good.

Last night, just for kicks, I got out the scale for an unofficial weight. I was 6 pounds down from Monday night! I know, I know.....it's all water. That's okay! It's a start. It means my body is aware of the changes and it is adjusting. Perfect!

Now I just need to find more time to fit in more exercise. No more excuses! This is my life and I am taking control of it again. It's so easy to just "get through" each day instead of living to the fullest. I will make the time for me and to fight for my health!
