This DietBet experience has been amazing for my motivation!  I've been following a pretty solid routine with very few deviations, and doing really really well.  Just simple changes in my habits and I've dropped, according to the scale, 9lbs in a week.  I know, that's really drastic and has me a bit baffled as well, but I'm still guessing I had some pretty serious water weight to shed.

I've been eating mostly "raw" foods.  Not raw as in uncooked, but unprocesed.  Fruits, veggies, lean meats, and foods that I recognize came to my mouth without  being "stomped on by man" too much.  I'm not going to say I've been perfect at this.  Hell, I had sour gummy worms yesterday, and today I ate a little adorable xmas tree made out of reeces peanut butter cups that my father-in-law made.  I don't regret it one little bit.  I've also had a couple Monster Ultra Zero energy drinks over the weekend.

For the most part, I've been eating apples, bananas, oranges, carrots, cucumber, celery, beans, spinach, romaine, broccoli, almonds, chicken, egg whites, and a cashew-based ranch alternative I found on the Rawtarian's website.  It's a yummy healthy ranch dressing alternative.  I've been trying to maintain a healthy calorie load, while hitting protein goals and making sure I get enough carbs to feed my brain properly.  So far, no problems.  Also, I feel like I'm eating ALL THE TIME.  I like eating, so this works for me. :)

I hope everyone else is doing well with their goals, feels good, and is kicking butt out there!  I believe in you!!!
