
Day 13. I dropped an insane amount of weight the first week, and now I'm kinda bouncing up and down around my goal number. No progress seems to be happening. I've started eating more of the old food I was eating before, but for the most part I'm still doing fruits, nuts and veggies during the daytime. It helps that there is no microwave at work, and leaving to go get food is a bit of a pain. Last night I made a rotisserie smoked ham. Mmmm. Ham ham ham.
Although I'm not currently losing the big LBS, I'm still proud of myself for a couple of achievements throughout this challenge. I haven't had an alcoholic beverage or nicotine since just before the dietbet start date. I've also significantly cut down my caffeine intake. I went cold turkey for a while, but found that my level of exhaustion was making me a not-so-nice person, so I introduced a small amount back in when I started to feel owly. So far, no lives have been lost, so I'm calling that a win.
It's almost Christmas, guys! Are we keeping our spirits up? I've been decorating and wrapping presents and singing along to Christmas music on Pandora all week. Had to pretty much force myself into the holiday spirit this year with all of the stress flying around our lives right now, but it's safe to say that I've got a little Santa Claus in my soul again. HO HO HO, everyone! :)
