This week was strange for me. I only had one day of work, so I was completely thrown off my normal schedule. I could wake up when I wanted, eat when I wanted, basically do whatever I wanted for so many days in a row. I was worried starting the week off that I would be reckless and binge on bad foods just because I was home and could. I did not do as well as I thought I would, but I also didn't do badly. I woke up each morning and went to the gym to get my workout completed early. In doing this, I started my days off right and set the course for the week.

While I did eat a little badly some days, especially NYE, I wasn't too bad. I managed to lost 1.8lbs at my Weight Watchers meeting! This is good because I love seeing losses and I'm one step closer to my goal, but bad because I could have done so much better if I had put forth a little effort to eating well. I know that I would have had a gain if I hadn't gone to the gym so much last week. But now that I am back on track with my work schedule, I am feeling better.

It was definitely good to go to my WW meeting yesterday, they really help me focus and get on track for the upcoming week. There were so many new people there! I only knew one other person besides the leader and there were 13 people in the room compared to usually there is 5-6! I am glad that so many people are feeling motivated in their goals and have joined our little Monday at noon family! I hope that all these people stick around and can accomplish what they resolved to do for the new year.

I purchased the tracker journal at my meeting yesterday, it is a nice leather journal that you keep 12 weeks worth of food tracking in. I am excited to keep this as a little "snapshot" of my year, the first 12 weeks of 2016. I am hoping that having this will motivate me to make yummy meals and be good so that I can write nice things in it. I am also hoping that I can look back after 12 weeks and see a definitive improvement.

I am excited that I am in four different bets this month, but it is a little daunting to have all those boards to check on! I can't wait to see how everyone does in these games and see how everyone improves over the next month/six months. Good luck to everyone on your goals!!
