This journey is hard. And it's long. The longest thing I'll ever have to do. For me it's the neverending battle. When I add bread or pasta into my diet, my weight goes up right away... and not by a little. On the other hand, I can't imagine to live without my favorite foods forever. I'm slowly accepting the fact I'll be going up and down with my weight as long as I live.

Mantaining... it's such a beautiful word. A word I yet do not know. I was never able to mantain, I always went up or down, but never stayed the same. I'm definitely curious if this ever will be an option for me! I hope it will, but I don't have as high expectitions as maybe other people here.

But anyway... first 10 days are gone and I couldn't be more proud and satisfied. I haven't had a single cheat meal yet! And no need to say there were some temptations, treats left from Christmas, amazing (but not healthy) meals made by my mom... But I stayed strong. The result is dropping almost 15 pounds. 15 POUNDS! In 10 days! I never thought I could do anything like that!

Food is truly almost everything. I haven't moved much yet. I went to the gym and was dead after one single minute, lol! But I made small changes at home that I believe are helping me with the weight loss. I stopped spending every free minute in bed. I walk more. I drink over 3 litres of water every day, so I go pee a lot, lol! Also we're redecorating my room at home. Today I decayed all the furniture by myself. You'd say it's nothing, but after a few minutes I was sweating like crazy! I was really proud of myself today. My boyfriend is away for a few days and I didn't need his help, I was able to do it all by myself! It will be an amazing surprise for him, when he come back to completely transformed room I share with him in my folks' condo!

So, I guess I'm saying that work outs don't have to be done only in the gym, but also your everyday work may be very helpful!

I'm excited to see where the rest of the month will take me. I hope to lose a lot more weight, eventhough I've already met goals in all three of my DietBet games! In February my strategic play will be slightly different, because I need to keep myself motivating all the time. I'll tell you about it next time, I promise!

For now, have a great day or night (it's nightime in the Czech Republic)!

I'm off to bed.
