I'm proud to say I'm celebrating 20 pounds lost today! The scale finally moved after 4 long days on the exact same number. I've lost 2.2 pounds this week and I hit my 20 pound mark on the spot.

I'm very pleased with my weight loss journey so far. I made huge changes. I started to move a lot more. But the biggest difference is in my diet. I completely letf out any sweets, bread and pasta. I eat lots of veggies, lean meat (chicken mostly) or fish, nuts, fruit, dairy products.

I absolutely love my breakfast. I'm doing the almost exact same thing every single day because it's fricking delicious! I have two scoops of oats with milk (1,5% fat) - heated in the microwave for 1 minute. Then I add a handful of nuts, saisins, 1/4 scoop of chocolate protein powder and some fruit (usually bannana but I also had mango this week). It's sweet, healthy and it kicks out my day the best way possible!

With lunch I'm getting creative, I try to have a different thing every day so I don't get bored. But with dinner I realised what works for me and my weight loss. I do lean chicken or turkey slices roasted on the pan, then I add 1 whole egg and I also have 1-2 slices of cheese (20-30% fat). I don't eat any kind of salted pastry or bread with it, I only have like a paprika or cherry tomatoes with it, sometimes I also roast an onion with it. I got used to eating it without the bread, it's not that hard!

And the most important thing - I drink. Like a lot. I try to drink at least 3 litres of water every day. I pee a lot, lol! But it seems to be working! I'm losing again and I never thought I'd be able to say I've lost 9 % of my original body weight in just 24 days!

I don't know if you're wondering if I do something 'extra' - nonhealthy to speed up my weight loss. No! I don't! I just move more (and working out) and eat less portions and healthy food! I don't starve, I don't vomit ever (like for the last 15 years I haven't puked, thank god, I hate it!), I don't use any laxative. I swear to you, you can do it just by eating right and exercise!

Now I'm worried a bit. I read in the DietBet rules that person will be disqualified if they will lose over 12 % of their original starting weight. I don't think I'll get there in a week, that's 6.6 more pounds for a week and I usually don't get over 4 lbs in one week. But you never know and it would definitely suck to lose the money and be looked at like on a cheating person, because I do not cheat!

We'll see how it goes, I'm doing my final weigh-in on Saturday for the first game and on Monday for the second and third game. Hope everything will be OK and in terms of the DietBet rules. Fingers crossed!
