I was up 2-3 pounds all last week.  I knew it was water weight so I tried to not let it knock me off course. Yesterday I had to pee every 30 minutes like a crazy person. I'm officially down 17 pounds in 24 days! Insane. I feel really strange this time around. Like I no longer get any food cravings at all except for coffee. I only remember to eat because I have myself on a schedule (I plan out what I'm going to eat everyday a week in advance).

I still don't really see a change in myself. I can feel one. I'm definitely am putting on muscle especially in my back.

Now I have goals to work for. Every 5 pounds I lose I'm letting myself buy something I've wanted to do or get for awhile. Dawn keeps asking me to come in and get a facial. I told her I would after the holidays. 3 more pounds and I will, maybe during my week off in February. After that I really want to see if I can somehow get Bluetooth installed in my car. The next three I planned out are all gym related incentives.

I'm also trying to focus on my gym performance as sort of mile markers on this journey.  When I first started, 15 minutes on the stairmaster almost killed me. I would start off at a level 5 but then have to bump it to a level 3 and then 2 not even half way through. On Tuesday, I planned on 15 minutes and stayed on for 22! Level 5 the entire time until the two minutes "cool down" was a level 2. I've also been keeping track of how much weight I'm using when I lift. And I'm trying to start running. I have never been a runner, even when I was in the pool 8 hours a week I could not run. But Friday I did a warm up of 3.5 mph for 5 minutes and then did 5.0 jog for 1 minute followed by 90 seconds of 3.5 cool down 8 times. And I didn't die! I'm going to do that again today followed by some weights for the bottom half and 22 minutes on the bike.

Christmas mugs all year baby!
