i skipped the gym and went to the doctors today because my leg looked infected from where my boot was rubbing against the back of my heel (turns how I was allergic to the band aid but not on my other foot?) I had her look at my nails while I was there because I have severe pitting on two of them and wondered if it was related to thyroid. I know from researching it that it was either thyroid or psoriasis. The vain person in me desperately wanted it to not be psoriasis. The first time I really even saw this disease is when Kim Kardashian was diagnosed in an episode and had large patches of red scales down her back and legs. Turns out it's probably psoriasis. Which means my nails might start lifting off their beds, that it could spread anywhere on my body (including my scalp...I'm pretty sure it's already on my nose), and makes me twice as likely as other people to develop other autoimmune diseases like lupus, ms, or alopecia. But as with most things, what helps ease it? Weightloss.

On a more positive note, I weighed in for my Healthy Wage challenge on Friday, and when I weighed in today for the office challenge, I was down 10 pounds in 4 days. Now 4 of the was water I had downed before stepping on the scale. I've still lost 15-20 pounds in less than 4 weeks which is starting to concern me a little. I am not starving myself. I'm far from perfect on this thing. I've tried so many times before this to see the scale barely budge. Why now?  Is it because I stopped putting processed food chemicals in my body? Am I dying? Or did I really have that much crud in my system that needed detoxing?  Oh and I fit into my nsv goal pants today
