Wow - that was more of a challenge than I expected!

A tiny apartment with a lot of rug meant having to jerry rig my mirror on a trumpet case through the door of the bathroom. The cat kept knocking it down or pushing it to a bad angle.  It was a comedy of errors!

Finally got settled in and the scale was not what I was expecting it to say.  Apparently my recent birthday weekend added a few pounds since my last personal weigh in.  

I almost made it private because normally that jump would bother me but now, standing here on the precipice of two challenges I feel okay; this is just a starting point. Making my weight public adds some pressure and keeps me accountable. 

Now I just need to stick to the game plan:

Drinking water.

Eating healthy.

Staying active.

Limiting my excesses. 

I only need to lose 8.5 lbs in 4 weeks. That is absolutely possible.

Then 20 lbs in 6 months. I can do that. Just stay focused and keep at it.

Drink water.

Eat healthy.

Stay active. 

Limit the excess.

Day 1; it's just the beginning.
