Here we are....AGAIN!

Before I begin, let me be honest with you all, I've never writen a blog in my entire life, so why start now? I've been up and down on the scale my entire life and always been a plus size woman. I've had some great successes throughout my life and gone through periods where I am eating healthy on a regular basis and working out and feeling great. Inevitably; however, I always fall off the wagon at some point.

I've tried all sorts of diets and lifestyle changes and although I've never found one that works perfectly for me, I've truly appreciated the Weight Watchers goal to make a lifestyle change and work to incorporate fitness into your day to day activities. My fiancé and I have just moved into a house together (he proposed on our first night in the new house) and luckily enough, we have a lot more space than our previous one bedroom condo. I've moved my treadmill (which was dusty and used more as a clothing rack) into the basement and moved my Body Pump there as well. I also ordered Zumba to compliment my workout routine (which I have yet to try).

I heard about DietBet through a close girlfriend of mine who has also struggled with her weight for as long as I've known her - 10 years now! I've also asked her to be a bridesmaid in my wedding next year so if that isn't motivation enough to drop this excess weight, I don't know what is. As I do with most things, I jumped in full steam ahead. Not only did it help to put money on the line but we're struggling planning a wedding on a budget (I'm marrying a Greek - picture My Big Fat Greek Wedding.) The problem is, our parents aren't able to help much and we've just put all our savings into the down payment on the new house. Needless to say, I'm still paying back my student loans from over 10 years ago!

DietBet is my way to not only push myself to lose the weight but also my main motivator to earn some money for the wedding! With going full boar, I signed up the maximum number of bets I can be a part of - 3. This girl isn't messing around!

There I go, I'm all blogged out. Not sure is anyone out there will read this but if you do, any tips for getting in shape for your wedding? Planning a wedding on a budget? How to max out the winnings on dietbet? Any advice would be appreciated~!
