Back down again. Yesterday I didn't end up working out after my 30 min walk. It was just a hectic work day/evening and by the time I was done, I was too tired to do anything but go to bed. Did take some time in the evening, though, to run to the grocery store quickly and make dinner. I was having a serious craving for hamburgers... but rather than going to a restaurant or picking up fast food (which we've had a ban on since 2014 anyway), we cooked them at home.

I probably should have gotten the really low-fat content beef, but instead we got the preseasoned ones from the meat counter. They were delicious, but pan-frying proved that they were definitely made with your standard ground beef. Needless to say, I blotted them with a paper towel before eating. No bun. We sauteed red bell pepper and grape tomatoes in just a tiny bit of olive oil. Topped with a bit of goat cheese. I only had half of a 1/2 pound burger. We bought frozen sweet potato fries and I counted out my 12 fries for a single portion. lol. Reeeeeally wanted to eat them with ranch, but I settled for a sweet mustard that was still delicious. No other condiments. It was a really good meal, and just under 500 calories.

For lunch I had my usual veggie burger and made a turmeric/ginger detox veggie soup to go with it (not as delicious as I would have wanted, but still very good for me). I had a total of 1,210 calories for the day, burned 2,017.

Today will be interesting. I'm not working out - because I'm going to be on my feet for 10 hours shooting a wedding. I expect my step count will be far over achieved. Just had a breakfast of coffee and a Chobani Flip yogurt (my fave). I need to make sure I eat a filling lunch - because dinner wont be until about 7:30pm. I'm bringing a couple of granola bars with me just in case. No clue what dinner is going to be, but the bride said I'm included in the head count, so that means real food rather than some crappy boxed lunch. That being said, wedding food isn't typically the healthiest.

Hopefully it'll all balance out!

Time to get ready for my day now. Hope you all have a healthy, successful weekend!!
