"In order to get what you want, you have to deserve what you want. The world is not yet a crazy enough place to reward those who don't deserve it."

Everyone's goal in life is to be happy; to be successful. However, very few achieve this goal. It has been proven that the key to success (aka happiness) is a balance between health, wealth, and love. When people talk about the American dream, they usually are talking about money. But that's only 1/3 of the equation. The problem is, most healthy people have a natural tendancy to either suffer in drug/alchohol addiction or they have issues with spending way too much money. Fat people tend to stay clear of drugs and can usually manage their money well. But finding a fit, healthy, and wealthy individual is hard to come by. It takes a conscoius effort to be both financially successful and healthy. For me, I have a huge problem with health and an extremely easy time managing my finances. So it's time to set some fitness goals and make stuff happen.

Goal #1 - Run a Marathon

I used to be very passionate about running. I would run for 25-30 miles/week and loved every second of it. With a little help in dieting, and some long hours at the gym, I hope to run a marathon by this time next year.

Goal #2 - 6 pack in 20 days.

Im overweight. But i've been in this phase before, and I know I can do better. If I stay consistent, and work hard every day, I know that in 2-3 weeks time, I will undoubtably have a six pack. Won't be easy, but I can do it

goal #3 - 15 pull ups

Currently, I can do about 6.5-7 pull ups. Health is more than just diet and excersize, its also about strength and lifting weights. My goal is to be able to do 15 pull ups by October, if not then, by the end of the year. I am going to have to go to the gym consistantly 3-4 times a week and not let my diet slip. But... I can do it.

and that's it. My goals for the next 12 months or so, 1 short term goal, 1 mid ranged goal, and 1 long term goal. However, the key to success is seing things in the moment, in the now. Big picture ideals are good, but in order to improve, you need to focus on the daily progression to motivate you to do 1 more rep, 1 more mile, or even cut back 100 more calories.

In cunclusion, I will try to stay updated on a day to day basis, letting the world know of my struggles, my accomplishments, and the overall journey ahead. Stay motivated, and keep pushing forward!
