Staying motiviated seems to be the hardest part about weight loss.  From work stress, hanging out with friends, and often times, no one who is motiviated to join me in changing the way I eat and live is hard to deal with sometimes.

My husband is supportive and has changed his lifestyle as well, but not to the extent I have.  He still enjoys the occasional fried food side, sugar treat, and alcoholic beverage.  I've cut out all fried foods and excess sugar and will only drink once a week (or two depending on the events we have to attend).  When I do drink, it is in moderation and within my calories for the day per my exercising.  There's only 1 cheat meal a week for me and that means I can add in more cheese, rice, or other carb-licious thing my body just typically processes into fat!  It's hard to watch him eat that amazing egg roll from my favorite Chinese restaurant down the road and not crave it.  It's getting easier the more I avoid those types of food because I don't seem to want them as much.

I just keep living by the same motto when things get rough: Don't give up what you want most for what you want right now.  It's keeping me going, but it would help to find some like minded individuals to get guidance and share experiences with!  I loved my first DietBet because everyone was making comments and asking questions or providing answers/opinions.  I would love to know how others handle this in their every day world.

This is just me being slightly frustrated without anyone to have that great pep talk with!  Venting always helps!
