Hello Everyone!

One of the things I loved about the first DietBets I completed was being able to write in a blog.  I don't talk about my fitness or healthy eating journeys on Facebook or any other social media site, and it's nice to have a dedicated place to come and write down my thoughts.

A lot has happened since early last year.  Most notably: last July I became pregnant, and I had my son on April 4th, 2016.  He and I actually share a birthday!  Since his birth I haven't lost weight.  I wasn't worried about it.  I'm still not.  But I would like to set healthy examples for him.  He's 4.5 months old now.  He will be starting solid foods in a month or so.  I want him to see his mom and dad eat veggies, fruits, and lean meats so that he'll understand that is a good norm to have in his life.

I'll try to post blog entries frequently.  I won't commit to a frequency, since life with an infant is unpredictable in, oddly enough, predictable ways.
