Good Morning Lovelies!

I finally submitted my weigh-in and as I predicted, I have 6.1 pounds to lose during this DietBet. Piece of cake...I mean, piece of egg white and spinach quiche! ;) But seriously, I am usually super motivated in the beginning, hit my goal early, and then do the dumb-usual-human-thing and stop being motivated.

HOW DUMB IS THAT?!

I know it's a super common "human" thing to do.

(HUMANS = SELF-SABOTAGERS WHO HATE CHANGE)

We say to ourselves, "hey I'm doing great and/or did this great thing. I deserve a break." AND WE STOP MOVING FORWARD. And BOOM, quicker than a blink- we're BACK to where we started. That's why we throw around phrases like "yo-yo dieting" and "the last 10 pounds." NO MORE.

How I'm Tackling this SH%^ HEAD-ON

JOURNALING AND PLANNING AHEAD. No exceptions. Planning meals. Planning workouts. Making the best choices I can every day regardless of choices made before- even seconds before.

Have YOU ever self-sabotaged before? I know I can't be alone here!

P.S.

My StepBet has also gotten off on a great go! In the first two days I made my 2 required stretch goals. Yay!
