I took the plunge and signed up for my first round of Dietbet.  So why did I?

I needed something to keep me motivated.  and this seemed like a great way to do it.  I started my true fitness journey about 3 years ago.  A 32 year old military wife in a 4 year long distance relationship with her husband, I was bored and needed something to do.  So I joined my local roller derby team here in Milwaukee.  I instantly took to it and wanted to get good, really good.  I knew to do that I needed to quit smoking, workout, and practice.

I started all three of those and with some good results I knew I could stand to lose some pounds and gain some muscle too.  I wasn’t super overweight  or anything but I had just started to notice that my young 20 something habits were not going to cut it anymore as my body started to act its age.

I stumbled onto the 21 Day Fix program and ended up losing 20 pounds. I felt great, I got better at derby and learned a crap ton about food.  I have been a pretty model beach body using.  Drinking the Shakeology, doing the programs but 21 DF was the only one I even fully finished.  I started to just dabble in them all picking what I wanted to do for a workout.

So for 2 years I have been on that route… dabbling.  Not seriously getting some gains but doing ok.  My weight plateaued and I have been about the same since.

I am ready to kick it up a notch and get serious and hit some serious gains.
