This diet bet not only is a good way to get in summer shape but also a chance for me to try something new. Because I am in the thick of it with my roller derby season I wanted to not just do a BB program but instead use BB to help cross train. 

 

I also am looking at using to have my first go at carb cycling.  So on days that I have practice I also am doing my harder workouts and those are my high carb days.  On days that I am not at practice it’s a lower impact workout, recovery time, footwork and balance time. 

 

Yesterday was a nice high carb day.  I did my hammer conditioning and then went to a 2 hour practice.  Both were a bit of a struggle because I am getting over being sick but still got through both. 

 

Today is my first low carb day so we shall see how it goes today.  My workouts tonight will CIZE, some bosu ball footwork and balance and end with some centering yoga.   

 

I want to go hard this week but I also want to make sure I keep my body recovering correctly. But its day 2 and I am ready.
