I feel like I was actually pretty good--food-wise and exercise-wise over the weekend, but my mood has been pretty sour.  I had to pull myself kicking and screaming into the gym on Friday and Saturday.  I had a GREAT workout, but still wasn't feeling it.  Then, I took an active rest day on Sunday with some mountain biking and then swam for a half hour last night.  Half way through the bike ride, I felt like stopping.  The swim got my heart rate up and I actually felt pretty good.  Went and sat in a hot room for 10 mins after.   

I made brussel sprouts for the first time over the weekend.  I need to find out how to make them so it doesn't taste like a ball of dirt in my mouth. The boyfriend agrees, but we ate them anyway :) (responsible, vegetable eating adults... bleck!)

My cheats over the weekend: Fro-yo, some pieces of chocolate and orange chicken.  Also, 2 beers.  

Tried new things: Brussel Sprouts, and for breakfast one morning I didn't have cream of wheat so I tried making it with Quinoa instead.  Not bad.... 

What I should work on next time: drink. more. water.  I always forget about water on the weekends.  I think when i was snacking it was really because I was thirsty, not hungry.  

 

Hopefully I will be over whatever funk I am in by next weekend. Maybe it's hormones.   

I am looking forward to going to the gym tonight though! :)
