Day 1 did not go very well. I did keep my calories in check < 1,500c, but ate whatever was in front of my right after work and had to skip dinner. Anyone have any ideas on how to avoid that in the evening after a long (and successful day of eating) at work?

Thanks Honeybee! I like the instapot so far. I have only made Chicken so far, but it turns out so much better than the crock pot and it only 12 mins for enough chicken for 5 days. Id love to try that taco soup you put above! :)
Hi J. Keep the right perspective. It’s still a win that you stayed in your calories. It was only Day 1! Be your own biggest cheerleader. And Tara is so right about planning...which you already know. Do you think the Instant Pot is worth it over a crockpot? I did some crockpot low carb taco soup a few days ago and it’s really helped me for dinner. Reheat and top with sour cream etc. Yum and good for the chilly nights.
Thanks Tara! I think preparation was where i def failed. I was trying to instapot some chicken breast right after work with a tight evening schedule, just ate real fast and ran out the door, leaving no room for a real nutritious dinner when i got back. Thanks for the support!
Number one reason I bomb out in the evening is because im either so hungry from not eating enough during the day or I did not have a meal planned. Meal prep seems like a big chore but its not that hard and is my saving grace. If I don't know what im going to eat then I eat whatever is in front of me. Hope this helps
