I had a tough week with some personal things going on at home with the kids. Parenting a 13 year old boy is HARD, let me tell you. I feel like I did well diet and exercise-wise though. I've been counting my calories through MyFitnessPal. My sister and I are competing. I won our first round (1 month long, winner stays within their calories the most with designated cheat days), even though I only lost 7 lbs total and she lost 10! Our 2nd round started on Monday.

I'm trying to stay within my calories, but also do the No-S diet. Basically no added sugar-items, and no snacks, except on "S" days (Saturday and Sunday and Special Day). Personally, I could probably find a way for every day to be special.  But, I started to realize how much I really do fill up on snacks during the day doing this. Yesterday, I picked up Son Number 1 and his friend from soccer, and they ate caramel M&Ms. I bummed one off of them. I also had bacon at a presentation for work. So failed "No S" day yesterday, but still ate within my MFP calories.

I think the stress of the week drove me to exercise a little bit more. I have this strength training class I love, and I went on Wednesday, but the teacher didn't show up. Bummer. Today, I'll run and try not to eat too much. I have a Mommy/Son date with Son Number 2 to his Elementary School Dance, out to dinner, and then to buy a leather jacket for his Sock Hop tomorrow. I'm planning on looking up the menu to see what I can eat at Chappy's tonight and still stay within my calories. Plan transformation is a go (only about 18.6 lbs to lose!).
