I started this diet bet last Saturday. I told myself that if I didn't cheat then next Saturday I can get my eyebrows waxed. Not cheating for me means eating a whole foods plant-based diet that does not include refined sugar, refined flour, meat or dairy obviously, or fried foods. I generally struggle with not eating chips or sweets. I'm on day six  and the sugar has kind of stopped calling my name. I did have a tough time and day for but it's not so bad now. I don't think I'll ever not be addicted to sugar or be tempted by it but that's the same with quitting smoking or drinking or anything else. I just ignore it and eventually  you stop being tempted by it. I feel better. 

 

 

 

I also found a website for advanced physical therapy that had stretches for low back pain and those really worked.  My lower back still feels sketchy but it doesn't feel painful enough that I'm having a hard time walking or lifting simple things or putting my pants on and that kind of thing. I think I should do the stretches every morning and also start  doing yoga on a consistent basis and walk like crazy well my muscles strengthen.
