I won a dietbet challenge in May. It was a fantastic feeling of accomplishment and self-control! I used the 10-day Detox Diet for the bulk of the weight loss and found that program to be extremely freeing in regards to getting both my body and my mind cleared. Unfortunately, I was not diligent in making permanent changes and put all but two pounds back on. 

Last month I completed the 100 mile challenge for August. That was tough! I loved the way it made my legs look and feel. I was not careful about my eating habits and although my clothing fit better by the end of the month, there was little movement in the scale. For this dietbet, I'd like to combine sensible, low-carb, extremely-low sugar eating with regular exercise at least 5 days per week and see how this contributes to my goal. 

Things to Start: tracking calories, drinking more water, eating more vegetables and fruits. 

Things to Stop: finishing my toddler's meals, eating processed food, buying junk food, drinking so much beer.
