I'm the embodiment of that statement. For five years I have competed in triathlons and run half marathons - I even did my first full marathon in March! And yet here I stand, still at 150ish pounds and 27% body fat. Always wishing I could lose that little gut/chub that makes spandex look more like sausage casings. I joke that I run so much so I can eat cupcakes and donuts - I can't outrun my fork, but at least I've managed to keep even with it.

Well now it's time to take it to the next level, and really start watching what goes in my mouth. Imagine how much faster I could go if I could shed 15 pounds of fat from my frame. Forget getting a new, light weight bike for my next race, I want a new, light weight me!
