I am so totally in agreement with you....I do just what you are saying except I don't always watch my calories on "treat" days. Between my last weigh out and my next weigh in, one week, I had gained four pounds????

Hello Lori and Susan,

I too am a carbaholic. Like they say, recognition is the first step. I am trying not to "reward" my successes with food. I do it, and find myself doing it to my kids as my mom did with me and it is not healthy. My new approach, not sure if it will work is to have carbs at work, so I bring in my crackers/pretzels/sandwich/ in a reasonable portion. I am trying not to eat many carbs at night, but I do grant myself popcorn it is lower cal and good fiber.

Remember, changing habits take a lot time, this is not an overnight solution for us it will take us time.

Wow, this is soooooo good and sooooo true and I can soooooo relate to it. I am scared my self right now because I have made so many bad eating choices the past few days........but, I am determined to get right back on track, right now!

Yep yoyo dieting is a pretty common thing . My advice is to organize your wardrobe. Keep in it what fits you. And put in plastic boxes for storage what is too big or too small. Like this you can see your progress and avoid stressing over clothes every morning :)

Great blog. I was not quite at goal this morning and have until tomorrow night so I'm going to weigh in tomorrow and see what happens, but no craziness tonight - I ate, drank, and exercised as usual and plan to treat myself to a bubble bath tonight. I did everything I knew to do and have lost weight and I am content with that.

If my 'food triggers' are in the house I don't have the self control to stop then I have to work 3 times as hard to make up for it for days!! We should stop that!!
