My poor husband decided to try couch2-5k in effort to keep up with my zumba/ 5k runs etc that i do regularly. Problem is, he's in his early 50's, overweight, completely sedentary, tons of stress.  So he went out last night to try running and came back only partway through the first workout with chest pain, dizziness, feeling like crap.  So i gave him two aspirin and we went to emergency.  Long night, ekg's cardio catheter etc etc .... It seems his heart is ok but he overdid it.  Too much! What a wakeup call! How fortunate he is to get a second chance to turn it around and how fortunate i feel to be able to be so active myself. (I'm 46 years old). Gotta keep going to workouts and eating right, and lose this excess weight so i can stay healthy. We have three kids to parent together!
