So I did something crazy and got out of my box!!  I have been slugging away and dragging myself to the same gym for years.  I do deep water aquafit which is an awesome workout and very safe.  My overweight self is submerged and I can work as hard or as little as I want.  I found myself getting bored and skipping classes.  I picked up a new schedule and thought I might try something different.  Drop in badminton looked like fun, so my friend and I tried it last week.  We showed up not knowing what to expect and what we found was a whole bunch of 20 something's......we almost bolted but decided to give it a try.  We had the BEST time ever!!!  I could hardly move that night but woke up feeling AMAZING!  We went back this week, brought a few more friends, and ended up being asked by other teams to play against them. Who would have thought badminton would be such a great workout!  When was the last time I ran, jumped, stretched, laughed and made new friends!  I'm so proud of ME!  I also realized that I'm actually pretty good :)
