Weigh-in today on my first Bet! How long has it been since I've weighed myself and hoped I weighed a little bit MORE!? I've been on Weight Watchers on and off for a couple of months and I'm happy with the slow but steady weight loss as I'm giving myself almost a year to lose about 14 kilos, or 30 pounds, the weight I happily gained after separating from my husband, a self-named "weight watcher" who tracked every morsel I put in my mouth for 30 years. He meant well, but what a feeling of freedom it was to eat what I wanted when I wanted, and to know my friends loved me for who I was and not how I looked. But I've turned 60 now, and I'm ready to get back to a good and healthy weight, just for me. I need motivation every day so I don't fall into that little guy in the back of my head saying, "Aw give it up just for today. You can make up for it tomorrow!" (which I never do....!) Looking forward to a bit of motivation from the wallet now!
