First of all, this is a continuation of a blog I started on wordpress http://mexicanstarveoff.wordpress.com/ , but I've decided to move it here.

Today I'm seeing my new dietician (the previous one at my health clinic has taken a sabbatical to pursue some AMAZING charitable work with kids). I'm trying to figure out what to say to her/him, and what I'd like to get from this appointment.

The history is pretty straighforward. Got fat, started WW. Lost 20-odd lbs doing that over 2 years. Switched to MFP because I'm cheap, and lost another 5ish lbs over 3 months. Was frustrated with the pace and requested an appt with the dietician at the clinic. She suggested Natasha Turner's diet, and that worked pretty darn well for the first couple of months. Lost 10 lbs in a month! Then my motivation waned (work got hard, then summer..blah blah blah). Rediscovered motivation in August with dietbet, and I've lost 18.6 lbs in 3 months! Woo hoo! I'm pretty pleased with that. DIETBET FOR THE WIN.

So, what am I asking this person for? I guess I'm just so pleased with the advice I received from the last dietician that I'm really hoping to continue the supervision, and maintain the relationship as a resource. Challenges I've been having lately? Well, I've had really bad allergies the past two months and that's a major challenge, and also with the weather changing my active commuting is becoming more challenging. I'm also a little bored with the recipes from Natasha Turner - and there doesn't seem to be any plans for more recipies. I've started branching out into recipes from the interwebs, but it's hard to find ones that fit specifically into her plan (and I'm possibly lazy about checking if they really fit...)

I guess that's kindof it. Happy dietbetting!
