You can use a online calculator to figure out what your daily calorie intake should be, to meet your current weight goal. You will also need to decide what your macronutrient ratios should be (how much of your calories do you aim to divvy up between carbs, fat, and protein). A good one to start with might be 50% carbs, 25% fat, 25% protein, but you want to tweak it until you get a ratio that results in the easiest weight loss for you. 33/33/33 is also good, or if you really like protein, you may want to make that one the highest ratio. Everyone is different, so there is no magic answer. And you can still get plenty of protein from non-meat sources, if you prefer a more vegetarian diet. Your fats need to come from healthy sources - grassfed meats/butter/ghee/lard/tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil -- avoid canola oil, vegetable oil, soybean oil, safflower oil. If you can't get grassfed meat, get super low-fat supermarket meat and then add olive oil or coconut oil.
