By the end of lunch I had already used up about a thousand of my alotment of caloires.  Not so bad, since I usually eat most of my calories in the morning. Ive always been this way, not sure why.  Now at six pm I have no desire to eat dinner, which is typical.  Alas, I never eat after about 3pm unless out with others, where I sort of 'pretend' to eat by nibbling here and there.  Luckily, I am only going to a doc film tonight, no eating dinner, so popcorn (no butter) will be my food until breakfast.  So... day one,  food was healthy and tasty: I passed up buying the infamous "Chapel Hill Toffee" at WHole Foods today. WHen I checked out, it was glaring at me from the checkout out, right there by the cash register in easy reach for that one last purchase.  For those uninitiated of you, Chapel Hill toffee is made here in Chapel HIll, NC and is about the best sweet treat for binge-ing in the universe.  High quality, hand dipped dark Chocolate over high grade, not overly sweet, hard toffee. Yum.  But I passed by sucessfully, going home with only my piping hot pea soup for lunch.    Came home to rake leaves, leaves, and more leaves, and walked the dog in the FREEZING cold wind.   Tomorrow is a serious GILAD workout day, but today was merely staying active.   Day one--success!  healthy  food, healthy activity.  I'm not going near a scale however for at least a week.
