Finally I know which one was the reason I felt sick last week!

So! Last week, during my workout on Thursday I felt sick and had to slow down on the activities, and last night I figured out what was wrong with me.

This is what made me feel oddly sick, sleepy and out of my body. Before my workout I felt I had the allergy going on big time so I had two of the pills of my allergy bottle I have next to my bed and got ready for the workout. Funny story, before I got to the gym I was yawning and tired but I thought it was because it was finals week and I was exhausted. WRONG!
Yesterday afternoon, around 1:30PM I took two pills again because I felt my allergy taking over (not really but i kept sneezing and my nose was not usable, and by 3PM when I was doing some diligences out I felt sleepy, sick, and like I wanted to pass out or fall asleep. Since I was already out there and in my car I drove back and everything seemed distant, like I was not really there.
After thinking what could have caused it and thought back to the things I was doing before I left the house, the answer came to me. ALLERGY MEDICINE!
I know some are not supposed to make you sick/sleepy but this one did and I was feeling soooooo bad! I figured the same thing happened to me last week, took a nap and when I woke up I felt like I was a whole new person! I did the same the week before and after reading about them I found out they totally were the cause of my droopiness.
Now, what does that have to do with the title? Easy enough, my body reacted to the medicine right away, and it was trying to tell me it was what made me sleepy but since I was so out of it I couldn't see the answer right in front of me.
This is the kind of situations in which you want to listen to your body. I didn't listen to mine in time and it happened again, but at least I know what to do and what to avoid doing. The situation with my shoulder injury had nothing to do with the droopiness from last week, but I had to address it before I hurt something else.
Anyway, Christmas is next week! So excited! I love this time of year, but I decided to make a twist on the celebrations this time. Healthy eating through them, or at least try through most of them. I'm planning on doing a quick video with healthy ideas on food you guys can enjoy during next week and hope they help you as I am trying to do help myself on this.
Remember that life is full of challenges, and if Christmas is one of yours, there are ways to navigate through the holidays healthy and smart. Once in a while might be okay, but that once in a while has to be rare and have a big space between each other.
