Month two of my Transformer Dietbet went about the same as month one. Not so hot. I'm currently sitting at my starting weight, which I guess is good, considering I gained about 3 pounds at some point during the last 2 months. Sigh.

I love Chris Powell's show - and I got an email about his Dietbet4 starting up - I didn't want to put MORE money towards another dietbet, assuming that I would lose it. BUT, I went to his site and started to read what he's all about - I came across Carb Cycling. I had no idea what it is... and the website really doesn't tell you a whole ton about it, but I bought his old book for $2.99 on Kindle. It inspired me to give it a try, if nothing else, to simplify my food intake & try to get back on track. I started it on Sunday - with a decent amount of success... but I kept going back to the Dietbet & reading some of the comments. So, now I've thrown in my $30 to it, hoping I'll be inspired & suppored in trying out the carb cycling. Go me. lol

In addition to the Carb cycling diet... I will be starting a Clean Cleanse on Jan 12th - so I'm thinking I'll just combine the two. Carb cycling, only eating foods from the clean cleanse - lol, it should be interesting. For now, I'm enjoying the dairy products that I know I'll have to give up ;)

I'm going to continue to do Combat for my workouts. So far I've just been doing the 30 minute one every morning - but I'm going to start following the program schedule now that I'm used to getting up earlier. Since its only 5 days a week, I'm going to attempt to either go to a group session at Fitness Together (a gym I go to sometimes) or run on the treadmill (I have one at home & a gym at work. no excuse, right?!?!) on the two rest days. I also have the option of going to the gym (YMCA) with the boyfriend - he has some guest passes that he is kind enough to use on me - Last time I went with him I ran/walked a 5K on the treadmill. He's super supportive in my fitness goals & occationally tries to challenge me to motivate me. :)

I also plan to put up some motivational items around my mirror in my room. I normally think that they are silly... but it can't help, right? I'm hoping it'll help motivate me whenever I'm feeling low or slacking.
