I have done Deitbet 3 times and only won 1 of them. However, I have now joined 3 New Dietbets and Will Win all of them! I travel all the time for my job so dieting can be challenge but it is not impossible.  I am going to watch what I eat closely and make sure I stay on track.

I am also setting a goal to do a 1/2 marathon this year.  I am starting with a program I found on line to build myself to do a 5K walk. Once I have achieved this I will move to the 10K walk program. I have not exercised for a long time.  So I need to build up to the 1/2 marathon.  The 1/2 marathon is a run so from the 10K program i will need to start a new program to build my running skills to the marathon goal. 

I am 61 and I guess it is about time I got serious.  But my understanding is 60 is the new 40.  I would ask you to wish me luck but it is not about luck it is about perserverance.

I have lost 1.8 pounds since the 1st.  It is a good start for the 2 dietbets that have started and the third Dietbet starts tomorrow.  I am excited to enter my unofficial weigh-ins to see my progress move closer to my goal. The 5K program starts today so I am definately looking forward to becoming more fit and moving toward my goal of doing a 1/2 marathon.
