Try looking for Suzanne Deason Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss. Or any of her other DVDs. I have several of her DVD's. I hate working out, but Yoga is what really works for me. I have tried loads of workouts and have a stationary bike and an AeroPilates Machine I really do like. However, Yoga is what works for me. Suzanne Deason videos are very gentle and slow. It is a great workout, but the best thing is she has 4 different versions of the poses for each one, so you can follow along with whichever person best suits your level. I have bought several of her DVD's used on either Amazon or Ebay. I now have other yoga videos and apps I use too, but she is the best one to start with in my opinion.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'm not sure where you're from or if you're a cold weather type of gal (I am, I know, I'm crazy!), but I have found that signing up for an event gives me the motivation I need to exercise. Without a goal, I just don't have the motivation to get out there.Since you are planning on incorporating walking into your routine, you could set your sights on a spring 5k or 10k to walk. A lot of running stores offer walk/run training programs as well, which are usually fun. You can get your fitness in and meet some new friends at the same time. That's my favorite part. Around me, there are a lot of Winter Warriors programs that sound cool too. It might be worth a look to see if you have something like that in your area. Whatever you decide, good luck! You've got this!
