The wonders of fruits and veggies:
Fruits and vegetables provide health benefits and are important for the prevention of illnesses. I recommend filling half of your plate with fruits and vegetables at each meal. Fruits and vegetables contain a variety of nutrients including vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Every color has different properties. I suggest buying the fruits and veggies in season so you always have a diversity and never get bored. It can be a fresh juice, a smoothie, a steam plate of broccoli, grilled bell peppers, raw celery... the recipes and the flavors are endless. Most of the vegetables are full of fibers and water which is a great way to make you feel full if you are having troubles with portion control.
