Started dietbet Jan 30, 2013 and went from 176 to 146 in less than 6 months. I was looking and feeling great.  Bad news is that dietbet hadn't figured out how to do a maintaince bet so the weight immediately started creeping up.  I tried another diet bet in late August since I hated to see the scale above 150 but 4% of that was just too hard to loose and I lost my first dietbet out of 6. 

I still was feeling okay and I though if I could start the first of the year at 155 pounds, life would be good. Well, that did not happen.  The weather, my Mother is hospice for 12 weeks, and thejoy of the holiday eating and drinking season incfeased my weight to an excess that disgusts me. How can I gain 13 pounds in 6 weeks?  I only hope it comes off quickly.

I am a motivated and goal oriented person when I want to be.  My mond and body love to work out. Hectic, I still run marathons, did two ironman triathalons and numerous ultra distance trail runs.  I am a warrior!

Come on Tree, can't you learn to keep this dreaded weight thing in check.

The good news is, I WILL get to celebrate another win again, because I am focused.  Hopefully blogging will strengthen my mind to avoid the gain/lose cycle.  Only time will tell.
