In true Letterman style...  here are my top ten reasons for wanting to manage my weight:

10. Setting a good example for my kids. 

9. Being more comfortable on an airplane coach seat.

8. Health incentives at work! ($$$!!!!)

7. Being able to buy tall boots at any store, and not having to go online to look for 'wide calf' boots.

6. To turn heads

5. To not have to shop at 'special' stores, but to be able to just walk into a store and see something I like, and get it.

4. To win money on dietbet ($$$!!!! - again)

3. To be able to obtain all the rewards I listed out on my personal goal list. I wrote out a reward for every 5 lbs lost.  With the rewards getting better and better every 10 lbs.  At my ultimate goal weight - I've made my reward the thing I desire most - a new house. 

2. To feel good when I look at my body.

1. To feel accomplished, and stop feeling like this is the one thing in my life that has been out of control.
